About Lauren King Jewellery

Hello, I’m Lauren, the owner and jeweller behind Lauren King Jewellery.

Originally from the coastal town of Grimsby in North East England, I moved to Lincoln in 2026. My journey into jewellery making began in 2023 when I booked my first silversmithing class simply as something fun to try. From the moment I started, I knew I had found something special. I had never experienced anything that excited and inspired me so much.

After taking several more classes, I began building my own collection of tools so I could continue practising and developing my skills at home — often working in the garden, whatever the weather. What started as a hobby soon became a passion, and in 2024 I began selling my jewellery online to fund more tools, materials, and, of course, beautiful gemstones.

Since then, I have continued to invest in my craft and recently completed a year-long Fine Jewellery Diploma. This experience allowed me to refine my skills in working with silver and gold while expanding my knowledge of stone setting and traditional jewellery-making techniques.

Having spent most of my life by the sea, much of my inspiration comes from the natural world and the coastline that has always felt like home. The textures, shapes, and colours found along the shore are reflected throughout many of my designs, particularly my beach-inspired collections.

Every piece of jewellery I create is handmade by me from start to finish. I take great pride in every stage of the process, from the initial design through to the final polish. In a world of mass production, I believe there is something truly special about knowing who made your jewellery and the care, skill, and attention that went into creating it.
